Versatility Class Descriptions
TWHBEASM National Youth Awards
Register of Merit
10 or more points Awarded by TWHBEASM when a youth team has earned a total of ten points. Five points must be earned in at least two different events within one year.
Champion
35 or more points Awarded by TWHBEASM when a youth team has earned a total of thirty five points won in four or more events.
Superior Versatility Champion See Youth Superior Versatility Champions
55 or more points Awarded by TWHBEASM when a youth and his mare or gelding has earned a total of fifty-five points won in any nine events with no less than five points in any single event. It is mandatory that ten or more points be earned in versatility performance classes with a minimum of five points being earned in two of the following divisions: Trail, Pleasure Driving, TWH Over Fences, Basic Reining, Western Riding, Barrels, or Pole Bending. State associations are encouraged to hold shows where state and regional championships may be decided, however, the TWHBEASM reserves the right to hold any show where National Youth Versatility Championships are decided.
Annual High Point Champion
Awarded to the youth team who has accumulated the most points during the year in each of the Versatility Program's divisions.
